Patrick Fletcher,

Pitching at Cal- State Monterey

(Picture: EFS)

Previous 2010 Issues

School: Cal- State Monterey (and formerly Archbishop Mitty H.S.).

Position: Pitcher

Year: Sophomore

History:

Patrick was a baseball player at Mitty H.S., and younger brother of 6'9" EFS athlete and college basketball player Derek Fletcher.

EFS Achievements:

After using a proven effective EFS Sports Strength Program for 3 months, Patrick added 60 lbs to his power clean, and over 100 lbs to his barbell squat!

When executed correctly these two exercises enhance throwing, punching, kicking, rotational, running and jumping power. Because this program also uses unique EFS speed lifting techniques, and periodization progressions, the effect becomes multiplied. We also had patrick use EFS applied sports training techniques to enhance his throwing power (from his hips). We call this EFS AST (Applied Sports Training) and the impact is dramatic.

Way to go Patrick, we'll be watching for you! -EFS

Organization: De Anza Force Soccer Club

Position: Mid-Field

Sports Achievements:

Danna increased her speed on the field and her kicking power.

Quote: "I am definitely running faster and I am also kicking harder.  When I first noticed I was kicking harder I was surprised... but now it makes sense. This (The EFS System) has made a big difference."

EFS Achievements:

After using a proven effective EFS Sports Strength Program for about 2 months, Danna took 2 tenths off her 10yd dash, 3 tenths off her 20yd dash and over 5 tenths of her 40yd dash!  She also improved her foot quickness and agility by over 20% and added 2 inches to her vertical jump!  Danna used the EFS applied sports training techniques to enhance her speed and agility with a ball. We call this EFS AST (Applied Sports Training) and the impact is dramatic.

EFS Training System Enhances Kicking Power:

Many do not know this, however the plant leg (that is non-kicking leg) is more important when it comes to kicking power (distance, etc...) than the actual kicking leg, due the inherent biomechanics of kicking. The plant leg actually is trying to forcefully push through the ground, thus generating tremendous leverage and momentum for the the kicking leg.  The more forceful the push, the more leverage. The more leverage, the more powerful the kick. The EFS plyometric and balance regimen will significantly enhance the plant leg of athletes who kick for their sport.

Way to go Danna, we'll be watching for you! -EFS

Kyle Boehm:  Football Player Commits to CAL

School: Archbishop Mitty H.S.

Sport: Football

Position: Quarterback

Year: Senior (2010-2011)

Excerpts from SJ Mercury News & EFS:

Hey folks,

Here’s an update on one of the top recruits from the Central Coast Section, Mitty quarterback Kyle Boehm. The 6-foot-3, 215 pound quarterback led a run-first offense that averaged more than 250 yards rushing per game last season, but the talented junior is considered one of the top quarterback recruits in the West and has been recruited as a pro-style quarterback although he gained more yardage rushing last season than passing.

Boehm had offers from the following schools: Cal, Washington, Colorado State, San Jose State, Wyoming, Arizona State, Northwestern, Kansas State, San Diego State, Texas Tech and Illinois. “I’ve taken a lot of unofficial visits. Since Cal is so close by I’ve been there to check it out about four times. My father and I went to see USC and UCLA during spring break. We also went up to Washington.

The Mitty quarterback finally made an oral commitment to play at Cal. Mitty is expected to have a strong run game again this season, but Boehm isn’t worried about getting a chance to throw more often. “If coach wants me to run the ball 40 times a game or throw it 40 times a game, it doesn’t matter, I’ll do what’s best for the success of our team,” Boehm said.

Sports Achievements:

Named co-player of the year honors in the West Catholic Athletic League last season after rushing for 877 yards in 149 carries and 14 touchdowns. He completed 66 percent of his attempts as a sophomore and last season he passed for 936 yards and eight touchdowns with four interceptions. Offered Athletic Scholarship to play at University of California.

EFS Achievements:

Kyle improved his speed, foot quickness & agility and vertical jump while using the EFS Training System (at the EFS Training Center and also with an EFS on-field team program)!

Way to go Kyle, We'll be watching for you! -EFS
