Athlete Profiles and Performance Analysis...

Here, we celebrate the successes of our athletes and our training system.

Justin Schafer used the EFS system in High School and since being drafted to the NY Mets has come back for more. He had just 10 weeks, but the results were amazing, as you’ll see below. We also have a new video from EFS TV entitled “Nature vs. Nurture” exposing the secret behind some top EFS athlete successes.

Why Does an Athlete Excel and Improve?

Is it “nature”, is he born or stuck that way? Or is it “nurture”, is he or she made, do they become that way? This debate seems to have been more or less settled by many “pseudo- experts” (that means pretend experts) in the direction of “nature” (you’re simply born that way). However, we continue to see contradictions to this generalized assumption, and as a result have formed our own hypothesis which is anchored in scientific data.

The Key Ingredients

After 10 years of observation and data collection, we feel comfortable asserting the key ingredients for athlete improvement, through testing. The first is clear, one must have a generally capable platform (or frame) for athleticism. This capability is observable across a broad spectrum of the population. From here the influencing factors become increasing complex, often having a huge impact on athletic development. Assuming there is a capable platform in place, the following is the formula for successful testing improvement and athletic development.

The Testing Data: Before and After...

As a testimony to our assertions and The EFS Adaptation Cycle we offer you, Justin Schafer. He is a fine example of what it means to train properly, nourish after training and rest to obtain maximum recovery and improvement. He first used The EFS System 8 years ago, when he was in high school. He was later awarded a baseball scholarship from UC Davis, and has recently been drafted by The New York Mets. Ten weeks ago he approached us, because needed to prepare for spring training. The following is the dramatic before and after snapshots of his testing data, demonstrating the full effect of The EFS Training System and EFS Adaptation Cycle.

40 Yard Dash: 4.67 sec.
For Elite Level EFS athletes 1 tenth= approximately 1 stride length or about 6 feet.
