MLB- Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins. – When Logan’s mom first brought him to EFS as a young high schooler, she said: “He has a dream of playing pro baseball one day, but he’s on the small side and I don’t see him making it. I just want to help him chase his goals as long as he can. So, we’ll keep him doing EFS”. Originally a soccer player, the determined Logan Schafer worked extremely hard to defy the odds through off field training and preparation. Later awarded a baseball scholarship from Cal-Poly San Luis Obisbo, Logan was drafted into the minors by the Brewers. Even more motivated then, one off season he trained 3-5 days a week with EFS, which culminated in him being named “Brewers Minor League Player of The Year”. His dedicated preparation and performance garnished enough attention that he was pulled up to their MLB team. There the “Speedy Logan Schafer” contributed significantly over the next number of years in all of the outfield positions, and with his base running as well as hitting.
Just prior be being named “Brewers Minor League Player of The Year”, Logan trained with EFS very extensively and took 2.5 tenths of a second off his 40yd dash, recording a 4.43 sec. time. Who would have known on that day at EFS while talking to Logan’s mom, that Logan would have taken it this far? Future achievements are built on a solid foundation. -EFS Training Science.
